Parks Celebrate St. Patrick's With Green Fun

The luck of the Irish was with several parks today, helping to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in green style.  Above, a leprechaun was spotted at Florida's Adventure Island water park trying out several of the slides and attractions.  He soared down the Calypso Coaster tube slide, and even went diving into Paradise Lagoon in search of his "lucky pot of gold."

The park is promoting their Fun Card season pass, where if you buy a Fun Card for Busch Gardens you also receive entry to Adventure Island for the whole year.  More details on that here.

Elsewhere is the Sunshine State, Legoland Florida "went green" when Cragger the Crocodile from the Lego World of Chima turned all 219,000 gallons of water in the Quest for CHI green.  The park actually was able to photograph Cragger in the middle of the act, after he snuck past his rival Laval the Lion.  All in good fun though, of course.

Before long Mount Cavora, which stands 55 feet above the attraction, was dumping 1,000 gallons of green water into the ride's lagoon - which the park reports made for some great St. Patrick's Day photos for visitors.

A happy St. Patrick's Day to you all!
