Cheetah Hunt: Track Complete Part 2

After just having posted (below) about the completion of Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens Tampa, the park sent out some great photos of the event.

The final piece of the ride's 4,429 feet of track was lifted into place on Monday evening.  You can clearly see how the track jumps over the cable for the Sky Ride.

As the park explains, "even with the completion of the track, however, the work is far from over in preparing the new mega-attraction for its May 27th grand opening. Crews will spend the next two months finishing the intricate sculpting – or “theming” – of the coasters’ surrounding architecture."

Workers firmly bolted the final piece into place just before 9:30 p.m.  I'm sure it is just another day at work for these guys, but sitting up on that track seems pretty neat to me!

Work is also progressing on the "Cheetah Run habitat, which will house more than a dozen of the highly endangered cats and offer guests unique opportunities to get up-close and witness a cheetah’s speed first-hand during daily sprints."
